The Deigert family has operated their Roto-Rooter franchise in Monmouth County, New Jersey since 1981. Tammy Diegert is at the helm of the company now and when she first reached out to the team at Thump Local she was having several challenges. For one, her digital media strategy wasn’t optimized for the geographic footprint that encompassed her franchise agreement, so she was losing-out on potential customers. Additionally, the investment that was going into search and digital marketing was not driving a level of call volume sufficient to keep her team busy.
Thump started by taking over management of the website and updating it with a design that leveraged the best aspects of Roto-Rooter’s design guidelines and made it feel unique and personal to the Deigert family. A critical part of making that design update was integrating Thump’s Review Stars customer review aggregation platform.
“Having the reviews all pulled together and surfaced right on the homepage of the website has made a huge difference. Prospective clients read them to learn about the wide variety of drain issues we can solve, and they give them the confidence that we stand behind out work” said Tammy Deigert.

Now with Thump also managing the Google Adwords strategy and their social media, all Tammy’s local marketing efforts are working together in harmony. The holistic program is creating a steady stream of business and a growing list of satisfied customers who leave glowing reviews. As of July 2020 the Deigert franchise had a near-perfect rating with over 60 reviews.
