On Friday, February 14th, 2020, we lost an amazing, irreplaceable member of Thump Local, and an amazing, irreplaceable human being, Rich Healy. Anyone who knew Rich will tell you it was easy to know you were in the presence of greatness when in his company. He uplifted those around him with an unflappable positive attitude, a zest for life, a caring, sincere nature and humor.
Rich had a truly unique and interesting perspective on pretty much everything - sports, politics, business, family. He could help you see the world through a different lens, but never demanded you see it that way. You saw it that way because he made sense and he was so persuasive without ever being pushy - a gifted man, a kind man, a funny man, a loyal man, a caring man, an incredibly intelligent man, a man that we were proud to know and honored to work alongside.
He was unlike anyone we've ever met. He was not just a great business person, but a great person. He had a unique ability to cut through all nonsense, make a salient point and make you laugh like crazy all at the same time. He could read someone like a book and tell you all about with a look.
We lost a top marketing person, a business partner and most of all, a friend. He was one of the most authentic people we've ever met and he had the ability to spread positivity and enthusiasm more than anyone we've known.
He was a family first man and man to admire and a man to aspire to be like.
He will be missed greatly.
